The International Vexillological Index (IVI) is an international collaborative project to build an index of flag studies literature. IVI will index a variety of publications including books, articles, conference proceedings, websites, laws and specifications, and other relevant sources.

Contributors to IVI include vexillological associations and individual vexillologists. Within the dataset are records representing materials published by various member organizations of the International Federation of Vexillological Associations (FIAV), with the hopes that eventually the full range of their publications will be indexed. While IVI does not include full text of materials, it will link to full text whenever it is available online.
